"Plant the Future" Tree Initiative
Our Fair Supporters love our Fairgrounds both during the Fair and for year around activities! Given the recent decimation of many trees on the Fairgrounds, the Clay County Fair Charitable Trust is seeking donations to establish new, disease resistant tree plantings on the Fairgrounds!
The Fair, working with our partners at Del’s Garden Center in Spencer, have developed a strategic, 10-year tree planting plan to ensure our Fairgoers and patrons of the Fairgrounds will continue to have beautiful trees to enjoy, providing shade and a natural esthetic to our Fairgrounds for now and far into the future.
Your $2000 donation will create a lasting legacy by providing for one tree to be planted and maintained on the Fairgrounds in a location designated by our 10-year plan.
In recognition of your monetary donation, you will receive a commemorative plaque on our “Plant the Future” recognition wall, along with a Certificate of Recognition for display in your home or office.
